Shifters and Ashtrays

I’m about to get my Comanche in less than a week. The thing is, is that the truck is missing a shifter knob and ashtray. I know cherokees won’t have the column shifter, but do they still have the same ashtrays? Also, is there anything that can directly replace the column shifter? I don’t want to go through the hassle of trying to glue on a new knob and make it not look terrible.

Now is a great chance to make a custom shift knob. It doesnt have to be a cue ball or a tap handle but you could literally make it anything you want right now. You have a week to do it.

I just want mine to look stock. Nothing too fancy. Do you know of any column shifter swaps, or is there nothing like the Comanche’s?

Its a gm based column.  Did they change the knob from those of any gm car during that time period?
