Not a bad day, found a front skid plate with the instructions, two door buckets and couple parts for other members.

It was on a 2.5 but only on the driver's fender.

I just like looking at the interior of older vehicles, seeing the trends of the time, there are still colors that i am seeing that i didn't know came out of the factory. seems like Chrysler went to gray so everyone decided that it was easier to get that color i guess. I would like to do a different color but my comanche was factory gray, maybe ill start collecting a different color soon. I found this today not as rare as others but still neat to see.

I think on of the reasons I love my MJ so much is because their abnormal to find. At least around my area in Oregon. They are different and most people don't know that Jeep made pickups. For me the abnormality of it is why I put up with all its quirks. Especially my strange obsession with the Renix versions. I have had 2 Renix XJs and now my comanche. Why do I torture myself so much?

when the renix works, it works. some people get frustrated with it, myself I don't mind it. the unusual sight of a small jeep pickup throws a lot of people off, and there short run didn't help with the knowledge of them being out there, being overshadowed by the dakota and the s10. This was also the time that the hot rod trucks were starting to come back into play, you had the lightning tho it was full size, the shelby dakota and the typhoon/ cyclone. so attention was thrown towards them. I wish amc still owned them at that time would to have loved to see what they would have done with the Comanche.
