Fernando87mj
Is it possible if I could get a build sheet , please . there seems to be evidence that this was at one point a very bare bones truck. I think it never came with a rear bumper , or a radio , or air conditioning. It seems like all of these things were added later on.

Fernando87mj
Guess I was right , this was very bare bones at one point. Thank you JMO413 for the build sheet. Much appreciated!
JMO413
It might not have been to base. The 88 and further back build sheets leave allot out from what I have seen.
eaglescout526
Yeah they really do and that's why I didn't post build sheets when I first started.
Fernando87mj
The only reason I was curious is that it seems like the original radio harness connector is still there. Someone at one point added wires for the front speakers and tapped into the factory harness to add a radio. it also seems to have dealer installed a/c and it never came with a mirror on the right. I also found this today when I was repairing some of the po’s previous wiring. looks like a license plate lamp behind the bumper.

Those don't appear in the catalog and Chrysler shows them as the same lamp they used on the XJ's with the spare tire carrier. My MJ didn't come with a drivers side mirror so that was common practice when AMC owned Jeep. I mean the Jeeps were small enough to only really need two mirrors. Fernando87mj
Yeah , pretty cool find. I’m thinking it didn’t come with a rear bumper either. It has a aftermarket fey bumper. Pretty cool finding out what kind of history this truck has
Pete M
and maybe someday we'll figure out what the Ram 1500 and airbag codes used to mean
