Motorhead X Posted September 21, 2018 Posted September 21, 2018 I’m all pleased with myself, getting the new water pump on, when I notice I busted the HCV taking the heater hose off. Is the delete really as easy as running two ‘97 XJ hoses and plugging the vacuum line on the ‘91 4.0 HO? Thanks.
HOrnbrod Posted September 21, 2018 Posted September 21, 2018 You should get the hose bracket along with the 97 and up hoses unless you want them flopping around. Part number 55035933 at Amazon.

gogmorgo Posted September 22, 2018 Posted September 22, 2018 Even if you don't get the '97+ hoses you can just connect the lines together. But I definitely recommend the hoses. New rubber and fewer connection points means less chance of leaks.
Motorhead X Posted September 28, 2018 Author Posted September 28, 2018 After some trial and error, I ended up using these hoses from Amazon. They worked well. Gates 19039 (trimmed about an inch off the T-stat side) Gates 19038
