The seller should have moved the cluster out of that shadow so that it doesn't look like it has a HUGE crack in it.

wait, why does the NOS cluster have 0.3 miles on it?  seems more likely it was removed early on in favor of the better cluster.  a minor technicality, I know, but still.

Is the electric strip (can't think of the real name for it) on the back compatible with non idiot light clusters?

CONDUCTOR, Printed Circuit. And no, it's completely different from the non-idiot light clusters.

How can you tell the difference between an idiot light cluster and a non? Is it just the panel on the left?

the gauge clusters have, well, gauges.  you will see the needles.

Gotcha, just wasn't familiar with that terminology applied to these gauges. thanks man!
