crumbscomanche Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 Look what I found buried in the glove box this week: pretty cool to have the original invoice. I was surprised to see it went for $15k!
johnj92131 Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 Much the same price as my 91 base truck at 15K. I remember Don A Vee from the 1970's and 80's. Are they still in business?

Knucklehead97 Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 195-75-15 tires? Lord I thought 235's were too small on these trucks...
johnj92131 Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 235/75 x 15 interfere with the stock lower control arms. My 91 metric ton/bigton came from factory with 225/75x15 tires. 195/75 x 15 we're also factory stock on my 86 diesel Comanche.
FrankTheDog Posted April 21, 2018 Posted April 21, 2018 When I picked up my 92 2wd it had 205/75/15’s on it. (2011) It would go really fast with the 3.07 gears. A lot faster than it would go with 225’s or 235’s. With 205’s I got the speedo all the way around to the zero pin. Once. That was enough.
