1983 Nissan 136 k miles . Clean !!!! No rust . I'm tossing around the idea of offering my 1989 white MJ as a trade and see if he'll take it . Something about this all original rust free time capsule pickup makes me want it badly . Anyone owned one ? If you did own one , pros and cons ? Thanks in advance .

I'm pretty much a fan of any "mini" truck. The Nissan's were no exception!

Does that Nissan have the new-for-1983 2.4L twin spark engine?  It arrived mid-year.

Yep , 8 spark plugs , two different heat ranges as well . What do you think of the engine ?

I'd like to ,but I don't want to make an impulse decision. I was really hoping that someone on here owned one and could tell me the pros and cons and then I could make an informed decision. I'd really hate to offer up my 89 in trade and back out or get the truck and it not be what I expected , he might not even want to trade ....

I drove a bunch of them (motor pool trucks) all over Luzon when I was in the Philippines, but they were all diesels. Nothing exciting to write home about, but they were definitely a lot more reliable than the S10s we also used.
