RustyRodder Posted December 3, 2017 Posted December 3, 2017 Any suggestions on reupholstering the factory bench seats? I found a place that makes OE-style covers for a reasonable price, but the foam has 30 years and 220,000k on it. What have people here done? And no, there are no yards with MJs left around here to pull one from.
Strokermjcomanche Posted December 3, 2017 Posted December 3, 2017 Have you checked at the local auto upholstery shop , they should be able to help you out
Jkellahan92 Posted December 3, 2017 Posted December 3, 2017 I saw a post the other day where a guy said he cut a piece of plastic that would go under an office chair. He said he cut it and put it in between the foam and metal springs and said it helped with the sagging
RustyRodder Posted December 3, 2017 Author Posted December 3, 2017 Its not so much sagging, its @$$-to-spring. one of the PO's must have been a rotund fellow.

I may end up resorting to this! passenger side isnt bad, but the drivers side is horrid. Really don't want to drive 3,000 miles like that.
kroyusa Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 Please share the source for OE Seat Covers. Thanks
