Ive wondered that myself when I first saw it, just never asked.  Now I am gonna ask where is the "like" button at so I can never use it?

not actually sure about that , but I do know that the notification settings are up at the top/right of the page after you click on the bell

On Tapatalk for iPhone it’s right next to each reply button at the bottom of each post.

Ah yes it is there on Android Tapatalk as well.  Doesn't show up on the mobile site, which is fine by me, one less button to accidentally press.
