Lindsay
So recently, ive been having water leak on to my passenger floorboard, and can't locate where its coming from. it doesnt smell like coolant by any means, so i don't think its the heater core. I'm thinking that water is coming in somewhere during rain, and it can only escape when i move th truck due to bumps and such. any ideas?
Skorpyo
My 88 had an issue with condensation when the AC was on. It would drip and any passenger would be startled by cold water. Worth checking.
Comavalanche
Do you have vent windows that can open? Mine were leaking. Water would go inside the door/down the door card and end up on the floor.
SVPete
Two that I personally experienced are: The radio antenna cable runs out of the cab behind the passenger side kick panel. It has a large rubber grommet that shrinks and falls out. So that is one place to check. The other was the rear window. Do a search on the forum for water in cab and I suspect you will find other discussions on this topic.
87MJTIM
Look inside the front cowl. There are drain lines inside that can clog up. Water accumulates in there. If the cowl has seam cracks, water leaks into the cab.

gogmorgo
I had my a/c drain tube plug up. Condensation from the evaporator would puddle and then pour out of the floor vents going around corners. There's a small rubber hose in the engine bay coming out of the heater box and pointing down. Popping that off dumped at least a gallon of water onto the ground. Pushed a screwdriver through the hose and put it back on, and it hasn't been an issue since. I had this happen with an old 91 XJ
