Street Comanche #87 FOUND maybe?!

Comanche SS

You all might remember me from owning #59, and finding #51 and so on so forth...I have now found #87 on the good ole CL in San Diego, which marks 3 in SD. Original owner, 87000 miles.... Looks great!

https://sandiego.craigslist.org/ssd/cto/6081169222.html - this link will expire soon so ill post a screenshot of it...with all pics of the truck. Does anyone know JeepNut's personal contact info?

I do find it odd it has the same approximate address as when we found #51 and the lady does sound oddly familiar, will be asking for detailed pics of the plaque and some other identifying things. the leather bed cover is also remarkably like #51 as well as the overall cleanliness of the truck...ball shifter, matching pattern on concrete, mathcing red floormats and not really MJ styled seats which were all on #51...I have my suspicions... will keep updated

Plaque was stolen? And then replaced by dealer? What dealer might stock/make street Comanche plaques? In both #51 and here the lady posted she's selling for brother in law, low miles both posts, and ridiculous prices (14,900 to now 18,000)

The drama continues................

If ya ask me, its the same lady inconsistently posting, or deliberately trying to avoid her mistakes of posting #51...

And If I'm remembering correctly, you're the same guy who bought MJRemi's legit Street Comanche then flipped it. So why the concern?

I didn't flip it... Had it for awhile until it blew up on me... Nothing original street Comanche was on it. And I still have intrest in street Comanches. I like helping document and follow them.

I suspect we will see the ad several more times over the next couple of years.  Maybe even higher prices if it doesn't sell at 18K.  Bet they have a couple of ads up somewhere for a bridge or two.  This so called street Comanche has been for sale a number of times before.  Always with spelling errors and a shaky bunch of "facts".  Price gets higher and higher - Kind of like Tesla stock.

The grille , ground effects (that you sold separately ) , the plaque , 3 wheels , that stuff isn't original ? I could have bought that truck for $1800 , what did you sell it for again ?

Grill was gone, wheels were gone, ground effects were taken off when I got the truck(which I didn't sell, still in my possession along with the plaque). Only thing on the truck that was originally on there was the plaque. You should have bought it if you are so against what happened to it, I openly told everyone on here it was available, I held onto it about 6 months broken down in my driveway without posting it for sale to anyone but this club. So, I don't think I did anything wrong, all however many people on this club didn't give a crap when I had it or told anyone it was available, so I took it into my own hands. You all need to realize I don't have money to spare, time to spare or a place I could have stored it. I kept what is important to the street Comanche people because the guy who bought the truck had no intrest in jeeps or street Comanche for that matter. So if you guys want to keep throwing jabs at me Id appreciate it if you all stopped . I tried to do what's in the best interest for the club and noone can be even remotely grateful that I tried.

I agree with you, John. I don't think it's number 87 and I don't even know if it's actually 51 either...

Cody,

Nothing wrong with Tesla stock IF you get out of it with a profit.      But, I keep thinking of a wireless stock I bought at $7, then sold for a nice profit at $21.  I watched it go up to $105, then I thought I could time it's price swings.  In the end, I was wiped out - because I was a greedy PIG.

Just remember the Kenny Rodgers song: "You got to know when to hold, know when to fold.  Know when to walk away, Know when to run."
