Funny story from the local inspection depot.

The guy at the inspection station laughed when he saw the name "Comanche" on the side if the truck when he was giving it a walk around.

 

"Can you imagine the kind of trouble you would stir up if you named a truck Comanche nowadays?"

 

We both had a good laugh and chatted for a bit.

 

Not something I really ever thought of as offensive, but I suppose it could be taken that way to the right person.

Are American Indians offended by the U.S. Army naming all their helicopters after American Indian tribes?

 

I really wonder if more than a couple of dozen are offended by the Washington Redskins.  Get a life and some psychiatric help. Oh and get a Comanche Eliminator to drive to the protest.
