Minuit Posted October 3, 2016 Posted October 3, 2016 Here's a stupid question that should be pretty easy to answer. I don't have the trim covers for my bucket seat brackets, and I'd like to have them. Is it something unique to MJ buckets or can I use the seat bracket covers from an XJ? Here's what I'm referring to - the plastic cover under the seat. Pic shamelessly stealed without permission from Don.
gogmorgo Posted October 3, 2016 Posted October 3, 2016 Doesn't look like it'll work. That the one from a 2-door XJ sitting in front of my MJ's. It's too tall to fit underneath the MJ bucket and looks a little too long as well. Different shape, too, the xj's is a lot less square. But I don't have one from a 4-door to compare, there's a chance they're different, but I don't really see it.
HOrnbrod Posted October 3, 2016 Posted October 3, 2016 Unfortunately the bucket seat bracket side covers are MJ specific and, of course, NLA. P/n's 5AD50JY6 and 5AD51JY6.
Minuit Posted October 3, 2016 Author Posted October 3, 2016 Thanks guys, I figured as much. Sent from my LG-D850 using Tapatalk
ScottJeep Posted October 3, 2016 Posted October 3, 2016 Yeah, I think in all my buying/hoarding/selling I've come across ONE.
schardein Posted October 3, 2016 Posted October 3, 2016 As everyone already said, they are different. I came across an Eliminator in the junkyard, which had bucket seats, factory from what I've researched. And they were missing. I suspect someone already grabbed them.
