gogmorgo Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 Shiney. But holy crap... $13,600 and reserve not yet met.
yellaheep Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 Pretty cool to see all the stickers or markings that were stuck on or written on these trucks from the factory. Kinda odd to me that it's a Laredo.... but has the uber-cheapie wheels. Thought the Laredo's had the 5 spoke aluminum wheels...... Also interesting that it's a Laredo but is a non-A/C truck. I know the auction listing says it was special ordered so I sent a message to the seller asking if he would add a photo of the original window sticker or any other documentation showing the "special order" info. Curious if anything documented shows that the A/C and or wheels were deleted from the typical package. Really neat to see, very nice find. I too hope they get a bucket of cash for it.
yellaheep Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 Auction ended......... Bid got to just over $14K...... reserve not met. Anyhow, the seller sent me these photos of the window sticker:
HOrnbrod Posted September 19, 2016 Author Posted September 19, 2016 That's the highest bid ever I can recall for a stock MJ, and still didn't sell (as far as we know). Good sign, our trucks are increasing in value. The build sheet shows it's a 2.5L engine w. 5-speed, but it's not.
gogmorgo Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 You're reading it wrong. It's got the "standard equipment" on the left hand side (including the argent steel wheels) and on the right hand side it has the 4.0 under "optional or upgraded equipment".
HOrnbrod Posted September 19, 2016 Author Posted September 19, 2016 You're right, I did read it wrong.
schardein Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 Wow. Saved all the photos. Do you think the markings on the front axle indicate 3.73 gears? Couldn't find any gear ratio markings on the window sticker. Now I see what my cordovan interior COULD look like.
gogmorgo Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 I think the 3.73's would have been part of the tow package, although I didn't realize there was more than one. (Two prep package "B")
