RPM gauge/Tachometer

Recommended Posts

So I know this is a beaten to death topic, but like always I have many questions still.

I haven't wanted a tach until now because after I went with 4.10s and 33s, the comanche is a little slower. On the freeway going about 60, i really cannot tell if my rpm's are good or too high. Usually I'm pretty good at telling, because i can hear the exhaust, but I just can't tell. I also would like the newer cluster so that I could upgrade to some sweet gauge backgrounds. Right now i just have the speedo and the gas gauge as my 2 big main gauges. thanks

I promise, with 4.10s and 33s they are definitely not  "too high".

but back to the question, all you need is an 87-90 cluster with tach and then swap your oil pressure and coolant temp switches for sending units so those guages work.

If mine has gauges already, do I still need to replace the senders if I get a newer tach equipped cluster? What is the newest cluster I can swap into the 'manche?
