INjake89mj
1989 Pioneer Bought for $400 a few years back. Tired of it taking up space. Bought it solely for the Dana 44, tail lights, and Tailgate. Come to find out it had a new fuel tank and pump. Sold the engine and transmission for $300 plus a set of 2dr xj seats. He got a good deal, but i had no use for it. Hate to see them go, but this one was just too far gone to mess with. The flat paint hides a lot in these pictures. I will gut the cab corners off as well as rear quarters to use for patch panels. All the interior was inventoried and stored for later projects. We already robbed misc parts off of it for my brothers (Farmerbrown5) 88 eliminator. Everything salvageable will go to a good home, or keep for future jeeps. DirtyComanche
That one was pretty bad. I need to look at the other one I have in more depth. A tree fell on it. Unfortunately it might meet a fate like this one.
INjake89mj
yes this one was very bad! When taking the bed bolts out, the welded nuts twisted out chunks of the bed. The bed mount towers could be ripped of by hand. It was not in good shape. I could have gotten it running again with minimal effort, but I wouldn't feel comfortable driving it, or selling it. Sadly here in the rust belt these things happen. Good part is that we saved more than we actually scrapped.
