kdexter89 Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 I have been doing a lot of research on the AMC axle in the MJ and it's variants. The thing is I can't find if I should call it an M-20 or M-23. Could an axle guru give a guy a hand! Maybe provide some documentation on how to spot the difference in the two.

HOrnbrod Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 The AMC M23 is the FSJ version of the M20 used in AMC cars, CJ's, etc. It is stronger and does not have the 2-peice shafts like the M20. They have flanged shafts and are 6 lug.
