Xdt Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 Hello, As stated in the subject please help identify this connector. There are three wires Blue/black, Yellow/black and Tan. The blue/black wire is not connected (looks as if it was cut) and i cannot find the wire it should connect, nor can I find the mate for the harness connector. I have searched the schematics with no luck. Thank you
jimoshel Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 What year is the truck? Is the harness under the hood? The dash? or looks like in the pic, behind the seat? Just off hand I would take a wild guess and say it's a speaker lead.
Zebvance Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 wouldn't have 3 wires if it was. Looks like there is a positive, negative, and signal. I'm thinking its to a light. hood light?
Xdt Posted March 18, 2015 Author Posted March 18, 2015 Guys my apologies for not being more descriptive. My truck is an 87 I6 4wd 5 speed. The harness is located under dash and is near the accelerator and ECU. I did find a black ground wire that isn't attached to a connector, however did not think it would attach to the blue/black wire in the above photo.

yxmj Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 I think it was connected to the emissions maintenance timer? PO probably took it out to shut off the light.... :dunno:
