Borgeson steering shaft......?

Anyone spent the $250 on this shaft?

Worth it?

I can't see the benefits of spending that much on that product, Has anyone ever even broken that part before?

Borgeson makes terrific products, but they sure are proud of what they make.

 

What's wrong with your steering shaft that you think it needs to be replaced?

The ujoints are completely worn, popping and slop while turning.

 

All the ones I have found at the PnP are also worn.

 

I can get a replacement Crown for about $150.

 

Borgeson states that their shafts improve feel/response.

 

 

I was looking to what might be, I expect to be, hight quality, long lasting, joints.

Well, Borgeson does make top quality parts. Whether theirs is worth $100 (66%) more than Crown I can't say.

Yeah, wow, nice stuff.........but looks to be about $100 more than the Borgeson.

 

Thanks though, and stainless is always attractive.

Around here the little u joints rust away.

I think I have an extra steering shaft that is not worn out .If you are interested I can check to make sure .
