TheDude
Hello again, with it finally snowing here for real and my not being able to get up the hill to my house without 4WD, I figure it's finally time to get around to putting my front driveshaft back in. The only my problem is, I lost the bolts for the transfer case side.. Does anyone know what size they are, or have a spare set laying around? Thanks. Jeep Driver
I forget the size but I used regular allen head cap screws. 5/16 24 x 1 1/4 ...something like that.

Blue XJ
Why waste the time? Ace (or any decent hardware store) should have them on the shelf.
Rockfrog
A regular off the shelf Allen head capscrew will be stronger than a typical gr5 bolt... Unless you got them from Chang's Import Hardware ... nothing against Chang though.
TheDude
Thanks for all the replies. It seems I'll have to get these at the hardware store since the only place I could find them online wanted $30 for them..
Jeep Driver
Cut off 1" of an allen wrench, 1/4". That was the reason I swapped mine out. Nothing like spending more time taking out 4 bolts of the DS than removing the entire transmission. My front DS bolts are now at my rear DS.
