Any club members ever bought from or had any dealings with this company. The reason I'm asking I ordered a front bumper from them on Sept. 17th. And have yet to receive it. The price and the look of the bumper was very good. After reading reviews of their track record of deliveries, most said slow service and poor customer service. Always reassuring to read these after they have your money. I asked one of their vendors on e-bay Sunday how long it took for him to ship on the same bumper, three days. Also in the same response he said he called Logans and they informed him they had no outstanding orders. Then out of the blue I finally get an e-mail from Logans saying they would call me this past Monday, but they were sure the bumper shipped a month ago. I e-mailed them back my phone number, which they requested, which they also should have had with the order. I also requested the tracking number from Fed-Ex. Well its Wednesday night no call, no e-mail, no tracking number. So sorry to be so long winded here but buyer beware. I called Fed-Ex. they have no record of any shipment. If any member is in the area of East Butler, Pa. I would gladly reimburse you for gas or time to stop by there and put a bug in their ear for me. PM me Thanks Steve

I ordered one from him last December and barely gotten any response....he would always reply that he will ship it out monday....nothing! 6months later after seeing other members on cherokee forum not receiving their bumper as I wasn't either I got fed up and called my bank and made a report

towards him and through pay pal and they returned my money....

Everybody who has received his bumper says it's worth the wait but 6+ months is ridiculous....

No bumper is worth that long of a wait.... Even if it's the right "budget" friendly bumper

Why do more 4x4 vendors then not cheat/mistreat us this way? The product may be great but the guy is basically a thief if he keeps making the same delivery lies to get more orders. In the KJ world Rock Lizard ( now Tom Mudd ) has ripped off many and yet they are still taking orders. "Buyer beware" has never been more true then in the 4x4 world.

 

I tried to buy a "little guy" front bumper because I #1 like supporting the little guy & #2 I preferred the design. After reviewing comments and contacting the guy about lead times and delivery dates I just bought one of Rusty's newer designs as the answers I got from the little guy left me suspecting I would be in a run around. From order to my front door from Rusty's? 5 business days.

A lot of time it's people turning their hobby into a business, while retaining their current job. They simply are overwhelmed and don't have the time.

Then they should not try to do it and certainly should not to continue lying to customers about delivery times that they know that they cannot meet.

Update: Just received an e-mail from Jaime at Logans, she comes across nice as pie on the one phone call doing the order I had with her. Now she says she is going to get to the bottom of this with Fed-Ex, lol. She also wanted an address verification which is BS I don't know why they don't have it, and she said a bumper will be going out today, so who knows, I think it's just another stall tactic. Will update any news.

Update : The never ending drama continues. Bumper was supposed to ship yesterday, well I was hopeful. Got home from work, checked my e-mails for a tracking number, nothing. Came home tonight, nothing. Called Fed-Ex asked if they deliver without a tracking number. No. Asked if anything from East Butler, Pa. could by chance be heading my way. A package picked up today with a lable that said gopostalbutler. Figure that one out. He would'nt give me the tracking number, said the shipper had to supply it. Fat chance of that happening, but who knows, I'm the eternal optimist now after two months. I see a seller on e-bay is selling the same bumper again guarantees fast shipping. Probably them using a alias. Anyway what ever is heading this way is scheduled for delivery Wednesday. My fingers are crossed now.

(412) 867-1538 is the Logan's lady's cell phone. After I had a delay in shipping error (their fault, not Fedex) she text messaged me numerous times to make sure I was happy. I don't take any issue with their customer service. I'm fairly sure Logan's Metal Works and Affordable 4x4 are the same, and operate at least three eBay stores. I bought off Logan's website.

step one: call bank, and make report

step two: get money back

step three: take your money somewhere else

We have a winner. I know it is a pain in the butt and worse than starting over but continuing to do business with people who pull stunts like this just encourages them to pull stunts like this.

 

If, of course, you have not received satisfaction since your last post.
