ORCA
I've only heard really, really bad things about rusty's suspension components. So generally I stay away. Not a coil spring, not my rig either. I remeber seeing way more carnage pictures like that and most of the guys were saying it was happening when they were off of the trail. (I know this pic looks like he is actually on the trail...) pingpong
I have run rusty's coils from the start, and they held up well considering a heavy @$$ winch and bumper, and being over flexed.
Oizarod115
i've always heard ditch the trac-bar that comes with their kit... but the springs are good. a long time ago they had bad rep for their springs but have since changed suppliers.
87manche
I was there when that tracbar broke. The previous day Kim had bent it, they went into town and had a local place bend it back. the next day it broke.

Not that I doubt you, I know so much of the stuff we buy is all made in the same house, but I don't want to take that as gospel if it's just heresay. DirtyComanche
I think that they admitted to it.
feerocknok
It's on Rusty's page in the F.A.Q. I believe, and RE admitted to it. They were having problems some years back with their coils sagging, so they found out Rusty's provider and went to them.
jage
Back in the day I had rusty's springs and one full compression on the driver's side and it was sagging 1-1.5". Replaced with RE springs and they were totally different (at the time ... 1997-ish) Rusty's sucks @$$... I'd rather pay double for the same springs just not to give that Jackweed any more of my money.

jage
Hyperbole my good man... but I have passed up a few purchases because they came with Rusty's, and I have given away Rusty's used parts because I couldn't in good conscience charge money for crap. DirtyComanche
I sold all of my rusty's stuff. I explained to the guy who bought it all the short comings with it and what he should change. As far as I know he at least took part of my advice on it. I hope he changed the joints to something better... I didn't give him a choice on their track bar mount, I'd already ribbed it. And same goes for all the hardware - it was replaced with gr8. I wasn't willing to sell it otherwise. As I see it, Rusty engineered a death trap with that LA setup.
