Thought about this several times. Years ago, I played in a band that had a connection with a local shop. Could've gotten tons of discount ink. I waited... and waited... and then the longer I waited the less that it seemed important. I still want to go out and get a bunch of stuff done but as soon as I do I know it'll just turn into a snowball effect. Meh...

You don't want to get a tattoo without having a 100% rock solid commitment to where you get it. Usually people who should actually get a tattoo and won't regret it, know WHER before WHAT.

I've got this (just the grill, not the word) on my left shoulder, been there for 9 years.  No regrets.  But, it's small, simple, and hidden most of the time.
