HOrnbrod Posted February 4, 2014 Share Posted February 4, 2014 97-01 the map sensor moved to the throttle body. Actually it was in 1996, the first year of OBD2. In 1997 the MAP sensor changed (different connector but functionally the same). I'm in the process of hooking up a 96 throttle body mounted MAP on my 91 to get rid of the long vacuum line from the firewall mounted MAP to the intake manifold.
