Reedtech
I have been looking at wheel/tire sets on craigslist and was wondering if this would fit my jeep comanche. http://jacksonville.craigslist.org/pts/4269570596.html I'm having trouble finding what wheels fit the right bolt patterns, and i don't know how to tell if the tire itself is to big for the jeep with no aftermarker lift. Can someone please give me a little guidance. These wheels/tires are only temporary, I just need to get something on it so it can drive. Thanks. these are for a 89 jeep comanche sport truck
TheDirtyJeep401
Those I believe are 5 on 4.75 or 5.5 I think (might be wrong) Comanche bolt patterns are 5 on 4.5 If you really wanted them, you could get adapters.
yxmj
As DJ401 says...wrong bolt pattern...The tires are only 28 1/16" high.....so the could fit in your wheel well.......adapters could work but would push the tire out the width of the adapter. IMHO you would be better off looking for something that is more direct bolt on :dunno:
FrankTheDog
JK wheels have a 5" on 5 bolt circle. XJ,YJ,ZJ,TJ,MJ and liberty have 4.5" on 5 bolt circle. Ford ranger wheels will work too but the center hole would need to be opened up a 32'nd.

dasbulliwagen
The steel wheels from a Dodge Charger, Magnum, Chrysler 300 are also bolt on with correct backspacing and close to stock tire height. The center hub is also the right size. I have seen these used sucessfully on Naxja, and almost had a set for myself a while back. They are 17" wheels in steel with a bullethole pattern. The 18" ones from the police cars can also be used and have a decent looking 5 spoke pattern. I'm not sure about the aluminum versions for those cars, but it would seem to extrapolate that they would also work.
