OP, please measure from the center of the wheel hubs straight up to the bottom edge of the flares, front and rear, and post the measurements.

Like say drop shackles. :smart: But i understand why you (yxmj) said what you said, probably thinking factory equipment all round, yes?

I use the same rules as womans boobs.......I never had a set that lifted up and got perky after 20 years (naturally..... :dunno: )

It might have had an AAL put in the rear, or it might have sagged in the froont, or the whole truck might have been lifted, but unequally. We don't know. He also might have an MJ that began life as a 2.8L V-6 and now has a small-block Chevy V-8 in it (based on his screen name), and that could open up a whole different can of worms.

Zero information as to how his truck is set up as to a possible reason why his truck is lower in the front. Then everyone jumps in with clueless meaningless speculations. At least hold off the comments and arguments until the OP provides some pertinent info to at least warrant an educated guess. Until then, there is no need to speculate and spout random BS. Jeeesh..................
88 mjchevy Posted January 12, 2014 Author Posted January 12, 2014 ok the 4.0 was shot replaced it with a 4.4 chevy v8 that has weight is 15 pounds more than the orginal I'm the second owner and nothing has been done to the truck for the past 20 yrs. so I don't know if it is spring sag
Eagle Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 Please take the measurements I asked for and report what you get. Measure from the center of the wheel cap/center hole straight up to the lower edge of the fender flares. Front and rear.

Doctors have made zillions putting "lift kits" on these units, some better than others. Anyhoo, I doubt that 15 lbs. is going to make a difference. Even a stock MJ has a slight forward rake (that I personally like), at least most of the ones I've seen.
