Mom Called me while at work and said that my sister was just hit by a bus, and she was unable to contact anyone to check on her.  My cousin was able to head up to the hospital and arrived shortly after the ambulance.  from what we where told she may have a broken foot, and she seems to be doing ok.

what happened? she was on the phone with mom waiting for the cross walk to cross the road, it signaled to let her pass when a Auburn Transit bus decides to make a right turn and hits her (we are unsure how the bus hit her ant the moment), mom said the phone died, and called back and someone answers the phone and told mom that she was just hit.

I am sending mom home from work to chill out.

Those bus drivers are bat shiznit crazy. Ive been run off the road more than once by a tour bus like that that was in a hurry or just not paying attention. I have no idea where they find their drivers or what pressure those companies put the drivers under, but it aint good!

Yeah here in miami you get cut off all the time by the metro bus....but when your there sticking the middle finger at the driver there's a big sign right in the back that says " yield to bus, it's the law" that's probably why they are so crazy on the road and time is crucial with these drivers getting to each stop

Hope your sister gets better blue88

The city of Auburn has a public transit system? Or the university?

I think it was a Tiger Trans bus, so the university? I don't know if the city has its own transit system

Probably Tiger Trans. My niece graduated from Auburn last year and had plenty of horror stories regarding them. She said all the driver s are named Bubba 1, 2, 3, and so on. Glad your Sis is okay.

Hope you sister heals up.

When I was living in the GTA, the busses freaked me out. I nearly got hit a few times, and someone got killed right in front of my school. The drivers were pretty much rally drivers... they had at least one pedal on the floorboard at all times. I once rode a bus at twice the limit through a school zone, completely ignoring crossing guards. Damn sure I reported that. Here in Saskatoon they're much better, but some drivers still have that issue.
