Vaccum Line From Throttle Body To The Firewall

i need a new one. does anyone have the part number or a name for it?

jeep part 5300 4589. its a map to throttle hose. cannot find aftermarket. maybe it comes with the dorman emission harnesses. there are two pieces to that

junkyard, if you want the factory look or just use plain old off the shelf vacuum hose. ;)

Orielly's, but really any parts store should carry vacuum hose. Any hose thats the right dia will work.

 

take the fitting thats in the manifold and the MAP sensor in so you know you are getting the right dia.

I just fabbed one out of copper fuel line. 1/4 inch line I believe. You just have to grind a little point on the ends to get them into the rubber fittings.

coppers a little pricey isnt it. i just trying to get a good idea and hopefully find the right part or the hose.

That size plastic line can be purchased in bulk at industrial supply/big truck parts houses. Just gently twist your old connectors off the old line and install on the new line.

I happened to pick up a big coil of the line for 5 bucks at a yardsale. I just like the way it looks, and I figure it won't get brittle. :dunno:
