macho_burrito
I was wondering if anyone had a picture of a dash mat installed on 84-96 cherokee/comanche dash. I just messed up the dash in my cherokee and won't have time to put a new one in for awhile. I was thinking of ordering a dash mat to get me by for a little bit, but they have no pictures of the actual product and I don't want it if it looks like crap. -Blake
Automan2164
I have never been a fan of them. I have one off a dash I pulled... It protected it, but it looked like, well, an awkward piece of cloth on top of a dash board. Rob
macho_burrito
I agree, it's a matter of if it's less ugly than the hole in the pad on top that I created in my xj yesterday. Found a dash in eau claire, but have to much work to do on the mj to get to it any time soon.
AMCJeepMJ
I liked the dash mat I had in my old Volvo 240; it kept the glare down on the window and hid the cracks in the dash. I used sticky-backed velcro to keep it down and worked just fine.

Automan2164
Rochester, MN Darn, I was going to offer to sell you all they grey parts in the picture, as well as the dash mat/perfect dash, as well as install with you. I have no use for any of the grey. Rob
macho_burrito
I am in the market for a pair of MJ B-pillars in grey, but the XJ is tan. The bummer is that I have an entire MJ interior minus the door panels in tan, but the MJ tan is darker than the XJ tan.
Pete M
my 88 has been rockin' the dash carpet for years now. even got it embroidered with "comanche". :D but do yourself a favor and get in touch with the actual company that makes them and request that they NOT cut out the glovebox latch hole.
HOrnbrod
What's that white/tan stuff growing in there Pete? Yeast? Fungi? Bird feces?
Pete M
mud that came in through the window during the previous wheeling trip. :D
Guest
Like Pete and Rob stated; just a flimsy cloth that sits on the dash. Only looks good in black, IMO (color I have) and does well to keep the dash protected from cracking. A cheap investment if you can find one at the junkyard (very rare) but one that doesn't hurt to have.
