Any Advantages In Steering Stabilizers?

I installed upgraded steering components on my Blue Truck over the weekend and just have to install a new steering stabilizer yet. I was just wondering if there were any preferred styles/brands or is the generic White body dampener gonna do the job as good as any name brands? Truck is only on 3.5" of lift and 31" tires.

if you haaaaaave to have one, just get the cheapest one. they are just a bandaid. i havent ran one for 4 years.

Steering stabilizers are good for hiding death wobble.Yes, I said HIDING, not fixing.

 

They are also good at preventing loss of control or a broken thumb when you hit an obstacle too fast and at just the right angle.

That looks exactly like the Monroe unit I installed this month. Felt much smoother than the sixteen year old one I took off.

I have used factory and Rancho stabilizers on my Comanche since '94 and the OME I just installed is the best. Worth double the price of stock any day IMHO.
