I got a 5spd peugeot trans and the adapter housing between the trans and t case a bearing broke i need help locating part numbers or size of bearing cause mine was destroyed pictures of bearing would help to

Most members would use this as an excuse to upgrade to a AX15 but if you want to keep the BA/10, check with Rockauto, Quadratec, Jegs, etc.

Ya i have a extra ax15 but i need a diffrent clutch to make it fit

 

AX-15 and BA 10/5 use the same clutch.

 

A bearing for the BA 10/5 is going to be hard to find, and expensive. By the time you're done pulling the trans, ripping it apart, doing all the labor for a trans bearing, mixed with the cost, you'll be better off putting the AX-15 in, especially if you already have one.

 

Does your AX-15 have a T-case on it already?

The entire shaft, or just the tip? The clutch for both is the same.

 

89-91 AX-15's pilot tip is the same size as the BA 10/5, ~1/2"

 

92+ AX-15's pilot tip is bigger, ~3/4"

 

Are you sure you don't have an AX-5, not an AX-15?

The tip goes into the pilot bearing inside the crankshaft.  The clutch itself only deals with the splines.

There are a couple things beyond the trans itself you'll need for an AX-15 swap, especially if it doesn't have a T-case attached.  BA 10/5 used a 21 spline, AX-15 is 23.

 

If you're considering the AX-15 swap, I would estimate a good 10.328% of the threads on this forum cover or mention the topic, you should be able to locate pretty much all the information you need.
