Hello! that may not be the best way to introduce myself, but I've couldn't think of a better one right now. I have a 1988 base model Comanche that I picked up off of craigslist back in February for $1100, it's my first truck, though I did own a pair of Cherokees that my dad picked up as projects and got bored with. I'm sorry about the image size, I just took the url from my facebook page. I hope to do some body work and repaint it next summer.

I agree, it has the eliminator wheels, and bucket seats, unless modified I don't think it is a base model.

 

Does it have the full gauge cluster as well?

I'll take a picture of the gauges in a while, its raining right now. The guy I bought it from didn't know when I bought it and there wasn't anything in the paperwork.

Look at the VIN number. For 87-90 models the factory MJ Eliminator will have a 5 for the eighth digit of the VIN.

It could be a custom... with the 1 vin.

It is. Thanks for the tip. Instead of going out in the rain I just pulled out the pink slip and started counting. It must have either gotten a paint job in the past, or the bed swapped, because all the others i see on google have Eliminator painted on their sides.
