Here I notched the tan portion then cut the upholder for a snug fit then made brackets to secure it from always falling off, became very sturdy. Also fabbed up metal brackets to fix the hinged lid area. Oh and notched the xj rear heat tube before bolting it tightly against the heat duct opening

I picked up a nice MJ a while back. A 93 year old grandmother owned it and she only used it once a week for her trip to and from church. Since she was to old to drive anymore she had her grandson do the driving. He would come over every Sunday morning, back it out of the garage, vacuum the interior for his granny, load her up and take her the 1 mile to church where he dropped her off. He would then drive it 2 miles down the road to the dragstrip, where he field stripped it and just generally prepped it for the strip. After the races he put it all back together again and picked his sweet granny up and took her home and parked the MJ back in the garage where it would sit until next Sunday. Actually he did very well, consistently placing in the top 3. :MJ 1:

Well I love them they fit great, however that being said I did rush it due to time but I need to pull them out remove the carpet and tweak the fitment/positioning just a bit more.
