Needs a lot of (mostly cosmetic) work, but runs and drives great. I'd say it's an ongoing project. Current owner: Me! Notes: Dark blue paint that goes purple from the right angle (not original). Grey interior, vinyl buckets, floor shifter, cluster w/ tach. Looks like it may have done duty as a pilot vehicle (those silly orange lights on the front that I can't figure out how to make work, plus cb antenna mount and cable and very high mileage), maybe in the service of Parks Canada (just a guess based on the fact that it's the same colour as the older Parks trucks and the PO bought it in a town that may as well be in a national park, it's close enough). Supposedly ~150 km on an engine rebuild. Body is pretty straight but the rockers are mostly bondo and there's rust starting in a few places, but nothing major. gogmorgo Posted October 21, 2012 Author Share Posted October 21, 2012 I'm guessing it's spent a good portion of it's time on the highways, but the paint's been redone, likely within the last five years or so. The front clip's also been taken apart at some point, and I know that because of the rusty ratchet option on one of the bolts near the headlight. :brows: The PO put about a grand of work into it in the last year, too, although mostly drivetrain stuff. The rockers are a friggen mess of bondo, though, especially the passenger side. The interior isn't in the greatest shape either, and I've yet to pull up my carpets, but judging by the rockers, I don't expect it to be good... But overall, yeah, it's in pretty good shape. Definitely some miles on her, everything does work, though. But to paraphrase Dylan, half of it partly works all of the time, and some of it works all right part of the time, but everything doesn't work all right all the time...
