starkizer
I drove my truck! It appears to all be working normally!!! I think I might have a few minor normal adjustments on the rear shoes but all is well. I unfortunetly had to bypass the valve but its all working now. One last question (I hope) Will I need to do anything on down the road now that I put in a new axle and all new brake lines? I mean, should I retorque all the nuts after 500 miles or anything like that?
Geonovast
I believe you'll want to retorque the U-bolts after 50.
Pete M
not sure what the official suggestion is, but I treat them like wheel lugs and check the torque after a few trips around the block, then again after a couple weeks.
