Dead?

Was exploring down on the property a couple days ago and found this sitting perfectly on the ground. I'm assuming it's a coyote. What do you all think?

definatley a chupacabra. 100% sure. It might even still be alive, its just waiting for its bottom jaw to come back and bite you. :thumbsup:

Wombat. For certain a wombat. Watch out for those fangs- they may still be poisonous if you puncture your skin with em.

 

There may be others around and they don't like it when their dead are disturbed. Be careful with it.

maybe its not a coyote. look at the "Fin" on the back of your skull. mine doesnt have that at all

I was sort of wondering about the fin on the back... Mine and yours look similar in the snout area but the brain part look completely different. How big is yours? Mabe mine is from a younger one? I hope I didn't find some ones old pet.... But I don't think I've ever pet a dog with a fin on its head.... :dunno:

In all seriousness, its most likely an old wolf skull you found. Compare at http://www.boneclones.com/BC-020T.htm. Even has the 'fin' on the back of the skull.

Mine is about 7in long. It was a med female coyote. Maybe yours is a bigger male? Are there Wolf in ca? I'm still sticking with coyote tho
