for those who did a SOA on their comanche where did you get your preches

I went to my local parts store and the only thing they have is for a 3'' tube ( dana 44 or 60 ) but not for a 35

I'm thinking to go for mopars but kind of afraid of the price......

The Mopar Performance catalog perches are about the best you can get and MUCH less money than anything else ... but they are also cut for a 3" axle tube. I don't think that's a problem -- looks to me like you can easily do a little grinding to fit for a smaller tube, and fill in the gap at the ends with weld material.

To combat axle wrap, you're going to want longer than stock perches. I've been very happy with my Ruffstuff Specialties ones. Possibly a bit overbuilt out of 1/4" thick material, but that's fine with me.

:agree: I've got RRO anti wrap perches which are longer and they work great.

Only problem with the RRO perches is they come in their bolt on SOA and are a bit expensive,I liked them being bolt on though since they were going on a D35. I'm going to weld them on my D44 when I do the swap.
