Actually the 5.9 vents are highly desirable, NLA, and these days typically bring $50-80 on the open market. Less if you luck out and find them at the junkyard.

 

So the biggest argument against the 5.9 vents is that they are MORE expensive than the lebaron vents.

I picked up a set for $50 shipped with a ever-so-slightly cracked water drip tray. Soon to be found on my 5.9L Comanche (it's only fitting). I prefer to keep my HVAC ducting inside my home, not on my Comanche :D

I'll take that bet. :D I sold my 5.9 GC vents and drip pans for $175 on Ebay quite awhile back. Paid $20 for them. A friend stationed in the UK picked them up from a "breaker" and shipped them via military mail.

 

In the UK, not only the Grands had these vents, but also a lot of the higher-end Limited and Orvis XJs. The vents on the XJs were non-functional though, but were functional on the Grands with drip pans.

It's an April fools joke by the mods. Any correct spelling of the word is changed to that. You'll also notice everyone talking about XJ's. Your response will look silly once the word "find and replace" is turned off :D
