Well for the floor support I made this

 

 

upon test fitting it to the floor i decided I hated it,.... to the bin it went and made a second one, heavier gauge like stock and fit it in :)

 

 

 

 

Took about 2.5 hrs to make it and fit it,..

I could do floors for anybody,... LOL I kind of actually enjoy doing it,.. I know its kind of sad,...

Just got back on the rust bucket,... And made some headway !

 

 

Cab corner in :)

 

 

 

Rocker in/on

Into the windshield frame,...

 

 

 

Some small rust holes to be repaired,.. typical of cruddy windshield installs,..

 

 

 

 

State of the union,... and yes I know it's a mess,.. :)

Popped out the windshield to find this once I cleaned it up,... not acceptable!!!

 

 

So I took it out :)

 

 

and welded in some new stuff

 

 

much better :)

 

 

Now onto the next section,..

have to say SHE did a great job to on the floors :thumbsup:

 

and after seeing where you live :

You sir, are a metal master.

 

For a dump humper, this thing is going to be cherry.

 

Keep it up, maybe some of your motivation will rub off on me. And I have my hands on a Cali truck.

She likes to weld for stress relief,..and I get a beer break :)

 

A few more big patches then onto the drive train :)

Awwe thanks,.. I learned from trial and error,.. getting better maybe soon my own motivation will rub off on myself and I will start on the 53 Dodge PU the Wifey brought home,.. or the Tbird,.. or the ehhh ***coughs*** the Pinto

"A" Pillar rot now gone

 

 

 

 

Still some finishing to do but ran out of time,.. squirted it with primer to save it for later

Just finishing up some metal finishing in the door jams,..

 

 

Test spot on etch primer to see what it will show up for areas of improvement

Felt a bit bogged down and a touch overwhelmed so I decided to get some instant gratification and cherry pick a few jobs on the Manche,...

 

Old hole for a topper I assume

Hey, we all need a day off now and then! First, you are doing the Lord's work saving this old pile of sh*t...err, truck. :cheers: 2'nd, as has been mentioned, Canadian :Canadaflag: girls rock - you have a keeper there! Finally, love the work your doing, clearly you are enjoying yourself, and that's what it is all about!

That's why I love metal take it apart put it back together and you can blend it so it looks like it never happened :)
