my muffler fell off.........

so i hit a speed bump and bam heard a thud and it got really loud. The muffler rotted off. whats a good kind to get?

flowmaster 40 series sound good if you like it a little louder than stock. I ripped mine off last feb plowing snow in our monster snow storm. I stuck an old cherry bomb on there I had laying around the garage as I needed to get back to plowing. I really like the way it sounds on there.

I've had alot of luck with THRUSH mufflers. They seem to give you the right amount of back pressure with a good sound, also help the mpg. alittle to. They come with a warranty as well. Great muffler!

I used to run a Thrush glass pack on the Suburban and have one on the Comanche. Have a Cherry Bomb glass pack on one of the Cherokees and had one on my F100. The one on the F100 finally fell apart inside (outside was still fine) after 6 years. Best $20 I ever spent. Don't know about the Suburban because I don't own it anymore. Cherokee had it when I got it so I don't know how old, but still fine, as is the Comanche after almost three years. It has a few dents from crawling over boulders, though.

These best is honestly the stock replacement. Keep you from sounding like a Toyota racer.

I put a Flowmaster 50 series on mine, its only slightly louder than stock, but has a nice growl under load, it was 2 1/4 center in, 2 1/4 offset out, thats in my 87 2.5. Love it!

Good choice, that's the best part about glass packs. Cheap as heck. I threw one on my 98 ranger and I love it. Its not too loud, it has a nice sound to it, and definitely removes alot of back pressure.

this is a thrush aluminized muffler. The glasspacks were 19 so i figured what the hell ill just get a muffler
