If you don't see it behind the seat, you don't have one. Get a loooong handled flat screwdriver and insert it into the hole just left of center and just beneath the tailgate. Rotate counter-clockwise to lower your spare.

get a long flathead screwdriver and look for the opening between the tailgate and rear bumper somewhere near the middle. turn it counter clockwise and the tire should lower. unless it's rusted solid like many of ours. :(

My error. The jack does indeed mount behind the driver. Must of been thinking of a S10.Out of 11 Mj's 9 have the original jacks, jack handle and lug wrench. One has a broken spare tire winch cable. The other 10 works OK.

Very clean SW2. Is that the original carpet?

Yes... yanked it out when I had all the leaks, scrubbed it myself, took to to the car wash down the street and they scrubbed and it turned out pretty well...not perfect, but pretty clean for 20+ year old rug...

A lot cleaner looking than mine - nice job Wade. This is something I have to do but have been procrastinating. Will get on it now.
