rubicon express quality?

Most of the parts they sell are high quality , their shocks are rebadged Bilstein's and everything has held up good . The bad thing is their Track bar ends , although they have a good amount of flex , they don't hold up very long .

I would probably go with a Curry track bar end and mount next time I'm in there .

I bought the 4.5 super flex kit with 3.5 springs for my TJ 6 years ago. The springs and bumpstops are still on the Jeep.

1. Control arm bushings needed replaced every 3 months on the rear and every 6 months on the front due to cracking. Yes, they were installed right and torqued down with the Jeep on the ground.

2. Driver side brake line blew out on me.

3. Rear trackbar heim joint never fit tight, even with new parts. Was always loose.

4. Swaybar disconnects were a poor and noisey design.

I got the kit with OME shocks which are still working as is the front trackbar and rear swaybar links.

Their customer service was decent enough, but the control arm bushings broke the camels back for RE and me. As parts failed after 1 year, I replaced with JKS and have had NO issues with their products.

Could be a recent thing, most of my RE stuff is pretty old,

(I'm still using a set of their original style, nickel plated, heim jointed LCA's from 1996 :D )

I've had nothing but great experiences with their coil & leaf springs, trac-bars, upper & lca's, etc etc.

Hope this is just a fluke.

After reading a little more into that thread,

I'll say their customer service has ALWAYS been HORRIBLE (nothing new there),

and their sway disco's were never any good (I have no idea if they're better now, but the old ones were crap).
