97+ Mirror Source

Other than searching the junkyards for extremely hard to find 97+ mirrors, i was looking for where people have purchased these. Anything on fleebay is way over priced. Any help is appreciated

Got a power, heated passenger mirror for a '99XJ from RockAuto. Ran about $50 and don't remember what shipping was, but I had a bunch of other odds and ends in that order. A bit on the expensive side, but I needed it ASAP.

A note of caution, the aftermarket cheaper mirrors shake when driving, and do so more and more with age. IMO for something you need to see out of get used OEM.

 

 

I've passed up I don't know how many 97+ mirrors in the past few month, several sets of them heated em.

 

Too bad I didn't know you wanted any then. :D

I see em at the junkyard all the time, really need to pull them more often but I don't have the upfront cash (or space) to stockpile such common items :dunno:

They are always for sale on vehicles being parted out up here. I have a few sets in the garage, but they all have a future for them so I can't part with them.

x2 on this (mine are cheap aftermarket, and shake).

 

I bet if someone were to drill out the bottom of the housing, and add enough ballast, it could help with the shaking/vibration.

You could also go with the 2500 mirrors, they come in black and the more expensive chrome with heat and turnsignal:
