:dunno: dodge neon or plymouth neon? :rotf:

BTW... silicon might be a decent choice for an exhaust gasket, if you could get it into the proper form, say powdered silicon held together by a graphite or fiberglass (non-composite) matrix.

Silicone on the other hand, HELL NO! It will burn, smell terrible, leak, poison the O2 sensors and cat, etc etc... and speaks volumes about the vehicle builder's intelligence.

THEY ARE DIFFERENT! (sorry, pet peeve of mine)

Cool car man , I had two of them . One of them had more mods than that , I bought that one the same way , mostly tricked already , however those parts are designed for

racing , not driving daily , its only a mater of time that the turbo corrodes the exhaust valves , the crank goes for a walk in the park and the dual friction clutch takes a dump in

your wallet . Why do you think all that stuff has been replaced already ? Turbos usually blow their seals every 30k miles and they have the ever hated timing belt and tensioner .

If you even slip two or three teeth on those high friction motors , your going to bend every valve in the exhaust or intake side , or both .

That happened to me three times on two different cars , one time was a faulty tensioner , another time it was just the tensioner pully .

Just my two cents , fix it up best you can and sell it for a profit and sell the thing to some unsuspecting kid who doesn't know better .

Listen to the guys on the site , we must know something . Sure fix it up have fun but don't keep it long at all .

Well I like the car

It's running good

The pictured turbo is not one in the car...

It's not the greatest could have gotten somethingbetter for the moneybut I'm happy so idc

...you overpaid by almost $2000 according to bluebook. you could have bought a running driving ready to go 97+ cherokee with 120k miles, zero rust, and driven it to the ground over the next 15 years.

take Rob's advice. fix it, and sell it like it's stolen. this is a WORSE deal than the bastardized MJ you bought (and sold).
