Crying shame!!

Found this at the scrap yard last trip. Rearend and bed gone so I think they were treasures. And if they were as clean as the rest of the truck someone got a steal.

 

There was hardly a dent in this thing let alone a spec of real rust, heck the frame rails were still black and the gas tank was shiny.Well not like gold shiny but you get the idea. Wanted to cry.

 

1990, 4.0, 5spd, 4wd, long bed.

 

I looked it over for a while, this truck donated it's radiator to my 87.

But I did find a little treasure in it. The original build sheet. I have heard other members say they had one. I still don't know what I'm reading though so if someone who is more of a collector than me I will send it to you. Just let me know.

You need to go back and pull the fuel pump and sender to have a spare to build. :thumbsup:

I'm going back tommorrow to get the exhaust for sure since that's one of the parts that my new one is said to be needing. If I wait it'll be gone for sure. Also going to look at the rest of it and see what else I can snag since it has the same interior color too.

 

 

I would love to have the whole thing but not really an option.

 

 

I will put it in the registery when I get my #2 mj home and do all three at once.

The shell was the most beat up part of the truck. No rear window.

id definetly snag those fenders and any other body panels . they look to be in awsome shape. was it C4C "erd" ? also get the fuel tank i don't think you can really buy them as a new oem unit anymore.

You can get the fuel tank on rockauto for decent money but the pump and sender assembly is impossible to find. GRAB IT!!!

I wonder if anyone has decoded the info on them yet,

ill backtrack abit. i think mines a build sheet. its on yellow paper, with a bunch of collums and it shows the rim package and stuff. as i say I'm not sure its been awile since i realy loooked at it
