over2land
I just got a 91 Eliminator (my third MJ) and I'm toying with the idea of having the Eliminator stickers the PO removed reproduced so I can put em back on. Can anyone with a 91 or 92 get me a few measurements? I need: - Height of "E" - Length of "Eliminator" - Height of "m" Thanks in advance.
89eliminator
in 91/92, the decal was a full set unlike the 1st gen Eliminators. i never priced it out, but it would have to be at least $200-$300 to do them. you could always just stick the first gen Eliminator decal on... HOrnbrod
PM member jeepdoggydog. He recently purchased a NOS right side 91-92 Eliminator decal set on Ebay and was going to have some made using it and the mirror image.
over2land
I'm pretty sure the Eliminator pictured is a 90. I know my 88 had stripes that came down from the "Eliminator" and then went forward. Pretty sure it was the same for '89. But all of the 90's I've seen are like that one shown. I know what the 91 and 92 stripes look like, and while I'm not crazy about them, they are different than the earlier non-HO trucks had, which is why I am thinking of putting them back on. And I think they'd make my plain white truck look better. Will PM jeepdoggydog, thanks.

Apparently they weren't the same lengths from left-side to right-side when he did the "mirror image" calculations. He has been very good about emailing me the status and pictures of the design, and has told me all he needs to do now is make the decal! I told him at this point I am not in a hurry to get the stickers ( I am happy with the 88-90 Eliminator decals I have for now until I get my truck repainted in Jeep "black Cherry" in a few years), but would very much like to see them for sale on his website. There are a number of people here at comancheclub.com that have later built 1992's that could immediately benefit from having such decals. I will PM him and tell him the troops are getting "restless" for his product.

over2land
I was planning on contacting Jeepsticker for some more reflective tailgate stickers. Dealt with him a few years ago, and was very happy with the service and the product. I'll ask about the 91-92 stickers too. I wasn't aware of the mirror image font size change. I figured the stripes changed, but that was it. Once I'm back home and unburied I'll be calling him. Funny how the first image I find that has the same stickering my 88 had is that one. See how the stickers swoop down from the word eliminator? On my 88 they then went diagonally to the mid point of the body (on the door) and then turned forward to the front wheel wells. shawn
i've never seen that part that swoops down and forward on the first -gen eliminator stickers. maybe that was only on one year of production or something. I'm very interested in getting the second-gen stickers and will do anything i can to help get some into production. - does anyone have the contact information for jeep-sticker? ( preferably a ph.#). over2land
Well, my red one was an 88, and it had the swoops. I found that one I posted, and it was labled as an 89. The 90s I found online didn't have the swoops, just the Eliminator. I thought I called the jeepsticker guy last time, but the website now has no phone number. I rarely fork over money without talking to a person on the phone first... even if nothing regarding the sale is discussed. So I'd be surprised if I didn't call before. LEAD_NOT_FOLLOW
I've worked with Spencer on several projects and will recommend him to anyone. Spencer can be reached at 860-529-2384. http://www.mahardesign.com
shawn
just got this from him. Hey Shawn... Joe got the ball rolling on this project. Since I do not have an MJ, I want him to make sure everything lines up before I put them up for sale. I am SO close to getting them out the door, a half hour of prep or so, pack and ship to him. I run a graphic design biz, so I don't get to dedicate as much time as I would like to Jeepsticker, although I would enjoy it more! Thanks for your interest! Spencer sounding good. Spencer97tj
I want to let Joe get them and just verify fit, and I will be good to start selling these! Going to keep price reasonable to ensure happy customers! BTW, I can be contacted at eight six oh 712 9439 if anyone wants to discuss... These stickers should be pretty simple to put on, but I would rate as a moderate like quadratec does. It will take a bit of prepping, cleaning your sheet metal with an alcohol based cleaner. I made the bed stickers slightly longer than needed, so you guys can just trim off the excess with a ruler and exacto. Spencer

HOrnbrod
Spencer; I too would be interested in a set of these Elim decals. The 91-92 Eliminator models were available in both the long and short bed models, see the pic below. Can you make the two per side bed decals long enough to fit the LWB MJs also since they have to be trimmed anyhow?

HOrnbrod
LOL. Yeah Rob, you're the one who got me thinking of getting rid of the "swoosh" decal I have now. The Elim decals would look mucho better IB thinking. Not a true Eliminator, but has everything the Elim has and a lot more.
Spencer97tj
I have been on this board since 2007 :) I wheel with CWlongshot, he is in the same club. I think these are going to be cool, it was a fun project. For the long bed, I will just add a foot or so the the rear bed stickers. Is that about right?
