jimoshel Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 :agree: There is no reason what soever to engage, disengage The front axle. If you feel you must, adapter cable assemblies can be bought from Ebay and other online sources to manually operate it. They $75. Now, if I can just get a cut from Eagle.

mnkyboy Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 I bought a 94 ABS Dana 30 with no cad and the larger u-joints. problem solved plus strength upgrade and it only cost me $150 :cheers:

mnkyboy Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 It won't hurt anything,actually all 242 equipped XJs and 1991 and up XJs came without the CAD. IIRC CAD on Jeeps went away completely when the YJ went away in 95.
