Do WJ upper control arms fit an XJ/MJ?

I've heard about using the lowers (with mods), but what about the uppers? Mine have 210k miles on them and if I find lowers, chances are there will be uppers there too. But will they fit?

Are they the same as ZJs? If they are, I can check Wednesday or Thursday when I'm at the JY, assuming they have one.

Jeep was cheap. There's no differences in the 5-link front other than the slight bend in the WJ LCAs.

What mods? Do you need to replace the bushings?

 

I was thinking about grabbing a set of lowers out of the junkyard....

Jeff,

I am going to replace all 4 on my WJ up front in a week or 2. I will let you see how they work when I am done. They might need bushings when I am done. I will be in touch when I do it.

They should fit without issues. I was looking at mommy's WJ and they're almost definatly the same. Aside from the bend.

 

 

 

It's the rear CA's that are longer.

Dunno about the uppers, but the WJ lowers are wider at the bushing than the XJ/TJ/ZJ. Length is okay but you'll have to file or mill the ends of the bushings and sleeves to get 'em small enough to fit the MJ pockets.
