How to find the GVW of a Jeep P/U

Place a peice of regular bond paper, no toilet or newsprint or light cardboard, over the axle and under the frame. Start loading the box. When the paper cannot be moved without tearing throw on another 100 lbs. That's the vehicle gross wt load. :chillin:

That might be the net cargo load, or carrying capacity, but that number is available from factory specs and has been posted on this site several times. That is NOT the GVW, or Gross Vehicle Weight. GVW is the total combined weight of the vehicle and the cargo.
