dfreeman616 Posted November 27, 2009 Share Posted November 27, 2009 i don't have any pics cause i didn't have a camera with me, but i know... :needpics: willy's truck frame, axles, and more or less body with title, no soft spots on frame. body needs some serious attention due to rust, no interior or engine/trans/t-case. asking $500 for it sitting at a junk yard, one of the workers is selling it, but wasn't there today. the guy i asked about it thought the owner would listen to an offer of $100... If nothing else, $100 for a title that isn't a headache is a good deal. No, you don't NEED a frame, but our SOS office and its stupid rebuilt restrictions make it much easier if you have the original frame.. even if you don't use it. jpnjim Posted November 29, 2009 Share Posted November 29, 2009 What I know about Willy's pickups: 1) I want one. :D 2) Pack light, because the cab's make MJ's seem roomy. 3) FSJ frames, AMC/Jeep drivetrain slid back about 4" & a CJ radiator dropped in the Willy's grille is a well traveled path in these, and that's perfectly fine with me. 4) This last one might be just my own taste, but I have yet to see one of these with full width axles, and wide tires that looked 'right'.
